SMS Program (A2P 10DLC)

Version 2026-05-09 · Effective 5/9/2026

Brand

Av8Book— a software-as-a-service operating system used by independent U.S. flight schools to manage scheduling, dispatch, billing, training records, and student communications.

Program description

The Av8Book SMS program sends transactional and operational text messages from a flight school to that school's own students, instructors, dispatchers, and mechanics in connection with the school's use of the Av8Book service. Typical messages include booking confirmations, pre-flight reminders, payment receipts, maintenance alerts, and account-security codes.

We do not send promotional, marketing, or advertising messages through this program, and the program is not used to send messages on behalf of any third party.

How users opt in

SMS is off by default. A user opts in by:

  1. Signing in to Av8Book and opening Profile → Notifications;
  2. Entering their U.S. mobile phone number into the “SMS phone” field;
  3. Clicking Verify and entering the six-digit confirmation code we send to that number; and
  4. Toggling on at least one SMS notification category (e.g., Booking reminder).

Until all four steps are completed, no SMS message is sent to the number. Verification of the phone number is the user's express written consent to receive SMS messages from Av8Book in the categories described above.

How users opt out

A user may stop SMS at any time by replying STOP to any message we send. We send one final confirmation acknowledging the opt-out and then cease all SMS to that number. To resume, the user may reply STARTor re-enable SMS in Profile → Notifications.

For help, the user may reply HELP to any message, or email Support@av8book.com.

Message frequency

Message frequency varies based on the user's schedule and account activity. A typical active instructor or student receives between two and ten messages per week.

Carrier rates

Message and data rates may applyand are determined by the recipient's mobile carrier. Av8Book does not charge end users for SMS messages.

No mobile information (including phone numbers, opt-in data, or consent records) will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes.
