About

Made by flight school owners. For flight schools.

Av8Book started in a hangar office, between lessons, with the same group text and the same spreadsheet that every independent school runs on. We got tired of it. So we built the thing we wished existed.

Pilots hate admin work.

That's why they don't have office jobs. Every screen, every form, every flow asks: what's the least-friction path for someone who'd rather be flying?

Functionality you recognize. Design that's ours.

We benchmark feature parity against other flight scheduling software because schools recognize the workflow. The visual design and interaction model are deliberately ours — sleeker, more modern.

Trust marks earned, not claimed.

"U.S. owned and operated" is a fact. "Industry-leading" is marketing dust. We don't say things we can't back up.

Errors tell you what to do next.

"Aircraft is grounded — return to service in /aircraft/[id]" beats "ERR_AIRCRAFT_GROUNDED." Always.

Our promises

The rules we don't break.

Non-negotiables. If a proposed change violates one of these, the change is wrong — not the invariant.

01
Your school's data is yours
It never mixes with anyone else's. Ever.
02
Money never half-posts
A completed flight bills, logs, and records in one stroke — or not at all.
03
Nothing is ever quietly changed
Every edit is on the permanent record — before, after, who, when.
04
Everyone sees only their job
Checked at the screen, checked at the server, checked at the database.
05
Part 61 is the differentiator
If it touches training records, it respects the regs.
06
The schedule can't lie
No double-bookings, no missing invoice numbers, no overwritten records.
